Tuesday 121
We didn't have practice. I got to nap.
Wednesday 122
I got a haircut at a salon here. They gave me a head massage. It was awesome.
Thursday 123
Travel team practice for So Con Tournament. I'm so happy to be a part of this team.
Friday 124
Open Mic Night fundraiser at O'Kelly for Love 146. It was AMAZING. =)
Saturday 125

Sunday 126
Introduced Dave to Yo Zone. Added another friend to the "Obsessed with Yo Zone" list.
Monday 127
Me and Hilary doing the dance from the Carmen Electra workout video and accidentally distracting dance team. hahahah

Friday 117
The most amazing hike ever. Beautiful weather, Jethro, boomerangs, abandoned houses, getting lost, being carried across a river by Jack, climbing up a mountain, ending up in someone's backyard, Richard breaking a basketball hoop, "hitch hiking", private property, the old man on the tractor, jumping a barbed wire fence, cows and goats, and somehow finding our way back to Cedar Rock. Definitely a day I'll remember.
Saturday 118
Last home game! So sad but so awesome. We did some pretty cool stunts and we got to do lib at the game for the first time!
Sunday 119
Stunting with cheer alumni. It's fun stunting with people who REALLY know what they're doing and can teach you cool tricks.
Monday 120
I have the best small group ever. I'm so glad I have this group of girls that I can trust. We've all been through so much but it's good to know that we're not alone and that no matter what, we still accept and love each other. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. It was awesome.

Wednesday 115
Got to go to Youthquake for the first time in two weeks (because of games). It was good to see all my middle schoolers again.
Thursday 116
At the moment, I have absolutely nothing to do. My homework is done. I've already worked out and showered. It's a great feeling. This rarely happens.

The first IV since fall term. I loved walking into the room and actually knowing people. It's a great feeling.

Tuesday (107)
I "like" my team. It's going to be so sad when our seniors graduate. I can't even think of that.
Wednesday (108)
Sold out basketball games and students actually caring.
Thursday (109)
A day with no practice = naps and time to read.
Friday (110)
Being sober, not that I'm normally not, but tonight it was especially helpful when one of my friends needed help and I was the only one who could help her (because I was the only one who could drive). Crisis averted.
Saturday (111)
Staying in and doing art.
Sunday (112)
Hearing people speak in tongues. It's simply amazing.
Monday (113)
Care packages from Mom, candy from Nana, and a Valentine from Kara.

Monday - Monday
Monday 99
Pretty uneventful day, but I made it back to Elon safely. That's always a "like".
Tuesday 100
First day of my "Fundamentals of Design" class. I'm psyched for it. We're starting with clay and going through so many different mediums. I'm pumped.
Wednesday 101
First day of my painting class. We're using oils. It's a challenge because I've never worked with them before. So as of now I pretty much suck, but I'm excited to learn!
Thursday 102
I went to Panera with Hilary and Julie and then went to YO ZONE (BEST PLACE EVER). New frozen yogurt place that opened down the street. SO many different flavors and even more toppings. You just get a cup and put whatever you want in it and then pay by weight. Not only was dinner/desert amazing, but I love Hilary and Julie. Our conversations are always eventful and hilarious hahah.
Friday 103
My classes for the day end at 10:35. So basically I have a three day weekend every week.
Saturday 104
App State game (we ALMOST beat them, which is a big deal because they're ACC). And the first Oak House party of the semester.
Sunday 105
Homemade food for the Superbowl. My college ministry group got together to watch the Superbowl and there was so much GREAT homemade food. I loveddd it.
Monday 106
Birds chirping and warming weather (even if the seasons changing does mean that I'm getting a cold).

Cinnamon rolls on Sunday mornings. I used to wake up to this every Sunday and then the tradition fell through as I got older, but this morning we made cinnamon rolls again.

Saturday - Saturday
I'm getting terrible at this.
Saturday (90)
O'Kelly house and cookies with the small group.
Sunday (91)
Finally deciding to stop.
Monday (92)
Seeing the Art Department head and having him basically tell me that he will accept me into the BFA program.
Tuesday (93)
Last day of classes/came home.
Wednesday (94)
Georgetown with Jenny and then getting snowed in with Tricia. And dancing in the car with my mom.
Thursday (95)
Patricia Mackenzie Cook. Oh how I've missed her.
Friday (96)
Fire Escape. I'll never stop loving this place.
Saturday (97)
(Early morning/Friday night, but still counts). Scary movie, eggs, whipped cream & fruit, forgiveness, old friends, and late hours.

Friday (82) - Friday
Friday (82)
Dancing. I was hanging out with my friends and I just kept randomly doing the stupidest dances ever and my friend Pat kept joining in. So it was just a bunch of us hanging out and me and Pat doing stupid dances. It was so much fun.
Saturday (83)
Painting with ink. I had to do two paintings for art class and the first one didn't turn out so well, but I like painting with ink nonetheless.
Sunday (84)
Great Wolf Lodge. I went with the community church as a chaperone for 4th and 5th graders and they had a great time and I got to see some friends who were also chaperones. It was awesome.
Monday (85)
Day off of school. Always great.
Tuesday (86)
Pints of ice cream all to yourself.
Wednesday (87)
Guitar lessons from Matt that always end up in his entire suite playing some sort of instrument.
Thursday (88)
Our basketball team winning against Davidson. Sooo intense, the place was filled and everyone was going crazy.
Friday (89)
Hilary Fogle. Aka "Mom" or "Cheer Yoda".

79 (Tuesday)
SNOW DAY!! We got like an inch of snow, but everything was so icy that they canceled school. It was fun to be able just to hang out with people and not have to do cheerleading stuff or homework or anything.
80 (Wednesday)
Matt and I FINALLY hit lib! It's still not great, but it's hitting and that's all that really matters, right? hahah
81 (Thursday)
Richard called me from Australia. The phone call probably cost more than my life but it was awesome to hear from him. I miss that kid.

77 - Yesterday
Today I "like" hanging out in Daniely L. I went over there after Renew so Matt could teach me some guitar and we ended up hanging out with his suitemates who are hilarious. It happened to be national "Pick on Kaitlyn Night" which consists of jokes about how "little" I am and the guys throwing me around, but it was so much fun anyway.
78 - Today
Drawing. I absolutely love drawing and I especially love drawing people. I'm so lucky that I can just take an art class for three weeks and have no other classes to worry about. It's awesome.

I've got a lot of catching up to do!
69 (Monday)
Today I "like" my real blog. (http://kaitlyn-verbalized.blogspot.com/) It has really helped me to sort out my thoughts and let go of things. It's also made me more creative in a way. A better writer even (still not good though). As dorky as it it, I really enjoy blogging.
70 (Tuesday)
My new Winter term class that started today. It's an art class called "The Human Face". For January we literally take one class every day and I have this from 1:30-4:30. It's such an awesome class and I get to sleep in! I feel like I'm going to art school. It's nice.
73 (Wednesday)
Basketball games at the Greensboro Colosseum. Whenever we play ACC schools, we need a bigger venue so we play here. It's always so much more fun cheering for thousands of people instead of hundreds (even if there is always more from the away school than Elon). Today we played NC State and were actually beating them at the half! (We ended up losing by 15 though =/ ). This game was pretty nerve racking though because not only was it a big game, but we had only had one day of practice to get back into the swing of things. We did awesome though. Me and Matt were solid and didn't drop any of our stunts, and all of our pyramids hit. It was such a fun game, especially listening to James and Allie's commentary about the players on the other team... ("Do you think he's ever even SEEN a weight?" "Yeah? Yeah? Your last name is Lesley" and "Who knew the ball actually had to go IN the hoop?!")
74 (Thursday)
Almost got lib! Pretty exciting.
75 (Friday)
Great Awakening. It's one of the local Christian bands in the area (a couple of the guys in it go to my church). They had a concert at my church and were absolutely AMAZING. They were so good, even comparable to Hillsong. I couldn't believe these guys weren't professional. They were awesome. I bought their new and old CD and a t-shirt. They were SO GOOD.
76 (Saturday)
Naps. I had to get up at 8:30 today. Coach a cheer clinic for 11-14 year olds from 9-2 and then cheer from 2-4 at a game. I came home, took a shower, ran to target for some essentials and then passed out for almost two hours. It was glorious.

Sixty Eight
Today I LOVE the Community Church. It will always be home. It's the place where I've learned to love, trust, and live life for God. I can honestly say that I've met 99 % of my best friends at this church. It has made me into the person who I am today and I love being home on Sundays so that I can spend the day at church and then spending time with the people from there who I love.

Today I "like" my gifts from Emily Morris. She got me a Perry the platypus t-shirt and a little snowflake necklace for Christmas. The t-shirt is so me and makes me giggle every time I look in the mirror. It's so perfect because of that "dgdgdgdgd" noise that me and Perry both make. That sounds so stupid if you don't know me, but if you do, you know what I'm talking about hahaha. The necklace makes me equally happy. Normally girls love wearing necklaces from their boyfriends because it reminds them how much they're loved. Well this necklace reminds me what a good friend I have and how much I absolutely love her. Being home for these two and a half weeks has really shown me just how amazing my friends are and I know that they'll be in my life forever. This snowflake necklace will not only always remind me of my best friend Emily, but also this entire break and all the love it has been filled with.

New Years festivities with all my favorite people. I LOVE these people. I can't even explain how much they mean to me and it was so good to be able to celebrate the new year with them. I don't want to ever leave. I love being home and being with these people. I'm counting down the days until summer when we'll all be home from school and be together again.
